Jiangsu University

Jiangsu University established in the year 1902 is located at the Zhenjiang Jiangsu Province. The University is a combination of Zhenjiang Teachers college, Zhenjiang Medical College and University of Science and Technology under the permission of Chinese Ministry of Education in 2001. Its former institute Jiangsu University of Science and Technology was the main institute among the 88 key Universities which was designated by the State Council in 1978.Jiangsu Medical University offers Undergraduate, Masters and PHD programs in different fields like Science, Economics, Management, Medicine, Education, History, Literature and Law. The University offers 170 masters program, 42 PhD Programs and 88 undergraduate programs. 13 post-doctoral research stations are also available at the university level. The University has a total of 5,763 staff members. Among them are 450 professors and 2,475 of them are faculty members.

33,000 students are studying currently at the University. Among them 842 are foreign students coming from 74 countries. The University promotes high level research. The total research fund amounts to 25 billion RMB in the recent 5 years.

The motive of the university is to invite more global talents to the country and promote international research for mutual benefit. The University has also signed agreements with different countries and regions by June 2015.
